McDonald's in Japan running out of french fries
Get this: Several McDonald's fast food restaurants in Japan are running out of potatoes to make french fries. They have been forced to ration fries to customers by only offering small size fries with every meal. It is unclear what exactly has caused the shortage. Maybe it's high customer demand or just a shortage of raw materials. But for a country like Japan, they're taking it pretty seriously. Meanwhile, my homeland of 'Murica appears to still have plenty of ingredients for our McDonald's restaurants, to the relief of our fast food-obsessed population.
